Open the
Canadian route

We believe a treasure made here beats a treasure shipped here.

Pure Desi Ghee from Oxford County is that treasure — made from Canada's finest butter, not reassembled from imported ingredients. And a treasure deserves to be one tap away from every Canadian kitchen: pan-Canada availability only a digital-first brand can deliver. One million dollars opens that route.

Six reasons this
route is ready

The product exists. Pure Desi Ghee is jarred, labelled and launching this Diwali — not a concept on a slide.
Supply is structural. Made with Canadian butter from Oxford County — the Dairy Capital of Canada — while most competing ghee crosses an ocean.
The launch pipeline: Pure Desi Ghee at Diwali 2026, then Edible Oils, then IQF produce
A pipeline, not a product. Ghee opens the route; edible oils and IQF produce follow on the same rails.
$200,000 of the $1M route blocked — anchor seal and 20% progress bar
$200,000 anchored. A food-industry angel group blocked a fifth of the route before the campaign opened.
Two phones: the GoDirect app with its captive 20,000-user GTA base, and big-box online reaching millions across Canada with limited ghee choices
The channels are live — and growing. GoDirect's captive 20,000-user base in the GTA today; a big-box retailer's e-commerce approval reaching millions pan-Canada, where ghee choices are thin (retailer named in the data room).
Four badges: 100% Canadian ownership, rural Canada focus, trademark filed, co-packing agreement
Built properly. 100% Canadian-owned, federally incorporated, rural-Canada focused. SILK ROUTE trademark filed across all four categories incl. ghee (CIPO #2495471), co-packing agreement in place, bilingual GS1-coded packaging.
what this route launches

A treasure
every season

The Canadian Route is not a plan on a slide — its first product is already jarred, labelled and launching. The raise fuels the rest of the pipeline.

Pure Desi Ghee

The route's proof: 1.6 kg jars of pure desi ghee, slow-simmered from Oxford County butter. Milk fat, nothing else added. Launching this Diwali, digitally-first on GoDirect.

Next on the route

Edible Oils

Canada is one of the world's great growers of oilseeds — the Canadian Route's next chapter bottles that strength for the kitchens we serve, under the same promise: nothing added, nothing hidden.

On the road

IQF — Frozen at the Harvest

Canadian farms grow more than the fresh aisle can carry. Individually quick freezing preserves that produce at its harvest-day best — instead of losing it at the supermarket's pace — and brings it to the pantry year-round.

And so on, and so forth

The road keeps going

Each launch funds confidence in the next. Staples, flours, the pantry the diaspora actually cooks from — added the caravan way: one proven treasure at a time.

Ghee, spices and staples aren't discretionary here — they're the weekly shop. And the community clusters in exactly the metros a digitally-first brand serves best. Detailed market sizing lives in the data room.

why this route

The road
runs through home

Pure Desi Ghee — the first launch of the Canadian Route

Silk Route was conceptualized in Canada, in the year Canadians started reading labels — a response to the tariff era and to a harder question about imported food: where does this actually come from, and what happened to it on the way? Our answer is a brand that makes here what can be made here, and imports only from the true source when it can't.

The Canadian Route is the "make it here" half of that promise, and it holds a structural advantage most food startups can't buy: Canadian dairy, Canadian canola and Canadian-frozen produce don't cross oceans, don't sit in transit for months, and meet some of the world's tightest food standards by default. Fresher by geography, trusted by design.

And the demand side is not a guess. Canada's South Asian community is over 2.5 million people and growing fast — households that cook daily from exactly this pantry, concentrated in the metros our digital-first channel already serves. The first jar ships this Diwali. The route is asking for fuel, not faith.

The product is realPack designed, jars filled, bilingual GS1-coded labels — launching this Diwali on GoDirect.
The channel is livesilkroute.global + GoDirect delivery across North America. No shelf-space gatekeepers.

how the money works

A simple
machine

Make & source smart

Make in Canada what Canada makes best (dairy, oils, frozen produce); import single-origin from the true source only when the treasure demands it.

Sell without gatekeepers

Digitally-first across North America — brand site + delivery channel, no listing fees, no shelf-space rent, full margin visibility per jar.

Launch on the season

Products land on cultural peaks — ghee at Diwali — when demand is highest and marketing is warmest. Each launch funds confidence in the next.

Funding updates from the route, by mail — how the ledger moves, what launches next, when a new route opens. No commitment, no money. Eligible investors are invited into the private room from this list.

questions, answered plainly

Before you ask

Who can invest?

We are inviting Canadian investors first for the Canadian Route, and welcome interest from Indian and other international investors — eligibility depends on the securities rules of your jurisdiction, which we confirm before any invitation. Registering interest is open to everyone and commits you to nothing.

What are the terms — valuation, minimums, instrument?

The headline shape is above; detailed valuation, the instrument, and the cap table live in the data room — one email code away for eligible investors. We keep the detail there deliberately: it's both good manners and how the rules work.

Is my money handled through this website?

Never. Any investment happens through definitive legal documents, executed directly — the website only tells the story and takes your name. If anyone asks you to pay through this site, it isn't us.

What does the $1M actually buy?

The Canadian Route pipeline: scaling the Diwali ghee launch, then bringing Canadian edible oils and IQF produce to market under the same zero-adulteration promise — inventory, production, launch marketing and the working capital that ties it together. The detailed use of funds is in the investor room.

Why "routes" instead of one big raise?

Because that's how the original Silk Route grew — one road at a time, each proving itself before the next opened. Route-by-route raises keep every dollar tied to launches you can see, taste and track. Canadian money opens the Canadian road; the Indian Route raises on the route's other end; the Export Route follows.
